Cell division Meiosis
Meiosis is cell division by reduction, it occurs in the division
of the gametes (Oogonium in females and Spermatogonium in the male),
thus producing a half set of chromosomes, which is compound afterwards
to a full set.
Meiosis is performed in two phases:
